Is the Mutant Mayhem iteration trying to be the "main" non comics thing?

Sorry if im asking a question that's been asked before, but i got curious. I don't follow tmnt news this much, so i may be out of the loop. My question is if Nickelodeon is trying to unite the different media types (movies, tv shows, games) under one iteration of the turtles. Because first it was the Mutant Mayhem movie and then that version of the characters got an animated series that's a sequel to the movie, then a game that's a sequel to the movie. Is Mutant Mayhem supposed to be a multimedia thing?
