I can't help but notice that using the kubuntu OS has a lower frame rate/smoothness than when I use Windows (10) when using 60 hz. Is there a way to increase the smoothness besides increasing the refresh rate?

I think I managed to install Kubuntu onto my second SSD (I wish to dual boot with Windows). However, my PC keeps booting into the Windows SSD despite having my Bios prioritize the Linux one.

Help with installing Linux for dual boot: I got a second SSD that I wish to install Linux on while I have can have the first SSD for Windows. Right now, the 2nd SSD is unallocated. I'm not sure how exactly to go about this. Could someone give me a step-by-step guide?
